In the early morning hours of September 12, 2021, a large house party on the 800 block of East Washington Street in South Bend, Indiana, turned deadly. Montell O'Neal, a 24-year-old male, was found shot in the doorway of the home. Police were called to the scene around 3:45 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
