In the spring of 1999, the life of 40-year-old Wesley E. Poindexter, a lifelong resident of South Bend, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of May 12th, the sound of an argument followed by several gunshots echoed through the 55000 block of Country Club Drive. Responding to a call, St. Joseph County Police discovered Mr. Poindexter's body; he had been shot multiple times.
