In the early morning hours of March 1, 2021, a violent encounter in a South Bend, Indiana, home claimed the life of 18-year-old Elijah Torres. The male teenager was found with multiple gunshot wounds just inside the back door of a residence on Liston Street and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
