On October 19, 2023, Jasani Taylor, a 22-year-old from South Bend, Indiana, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred at the Quality Inn hotel near the South Bend Airport, where Taylor was found dead along with another individual, Amarion Kirk, inside a vehicle in the hotel's parking lot.
