In the winter of 2015, in South Bend, Indiana, the life of 46-year-old Robert Joseph Duke, a Black male known affectionately as 'Red Bird,' was tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence. On the evening of January 4th, a quiet apartment building became the scene of a horrifying rampage that would claim two lives and leave a community in shock.
