In the winter of 2014, a gathering of friends at a house party in South Bend, Indiana, took a tragic and violent turn, ending the life of 21-year-old Christopher White. On the night of February 24th, what began as a social evening among young people descended into a senseless act of violence that left a family grieving and a community in shock. Christopher, a young man with his life ahead of him, was fatally shot in the head in the basement of the residence.
