Death by Force

On March 9, 2003, 19-year-old Jamarr Broadnax was tragically killed in South Bend, Indiana. The incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. when Broadnax was sitting in the passenger seat of a 1991 maroon Buick LeSabre at the corner of Kenwood and Fremont, talking with a friend. An unknown male suspect, dressed in dark clothing, suddenly approached the vehicle, opened the passenger door, and shouted at Broadnax. The suspect then shot Broadnax, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
