In the early morning hours of February 26, 2022, the life of 38-year-old Anthony Long, a Black male from Elkhart, Indiana, was tragically cut short in South Bend. Police were dispatched to the intersection of West Monroe Street and South Lafayette Boulevard around 2:36 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
