Jose Hignacio Peralta, a 23-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on March 15, 2017, in the 10500 block of Grandee Avenue in Watts, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. while Peralta was walking with his girlfriend. The couple encountered a black sedan that nearly struck Peralta's girlfriend.
