Luke Poindexter, a 22-year-old from Columbus, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2021, in a shooting incident on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Poindexter, a Columbus East High School graduate, was known for his athletic prowess, having lettered in football, basketball, and track.
