In the cold of an Indianapolis morning on February 8, 2026, a grim discovery was made that brought a violent end to the life of 56-year-old Michael C. Lockridge. Firefighters, responding to a call about a vehicle fire in the 800 block of West 29th Street around 4:45 a.m., extinguished the flames engulfing a Honda Civic.
