On the evening of December 5, 2025, police in Oklahoma City responded to a distress call that would mark the city’s 70th homicide of the year. At approximately 7:33 p.m., officers arrived at a parking lot located near the intersection of Southwest 22nd Street and Independence Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Andrea Leete, a White female, suffering from critical gunshot wounds.
