In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Indianapolis, the life of Andre Caldwell, a 29-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On January 14, 2023, gun violence erupted at the Budget 8 Inn on the city's east side, claiming the lives of Caldwell and another man, 48-year-old Jimmy Jones. The incident unfolded as a double homicide that prompted an extensive investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
