In the winter of 2021, the life of 34-year-old Carlos Spikes was tragically cut short in Gary, Indiana. On the evening of Friday, December 17th, Spikes was in the 4100 block of Buchanan Street when he was fatally shot. The Lake County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene at approximately 6:10 p.m. from gunshot wounds, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
