On December 18, 1990, Eli Balovski, a 60-year-old white male, was tragically killed alongside his brother, George Balovski, a 66-year-old white male, inside their tailor shop in Gary, Indiana. The brothers were found dead from shotgun wounds to the head, the result of a violent robbery. The crime sent shockwaves through the local community, as the Balovski brothers were well-known for their work and presence in the area.
