Robert Donovan Sanders, a 30-year-old Black male from Gary, Indiana, was found fatally shot on January 15, 2019. Sanders, who was known by the nickname 'Body,' was a father and had attended Lew Wallace High School after moving to Gary from Chicago. His death was one of the first homicides in the city that year.
