In the pre-dawn hours of November 12, 2014, the stillness of a Gary, Indiana, neighborhood was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the lives of two young men. Raphael Jones Jr., an 18-year-old male, was found fatally wounded on a street corner. The incident, which occurred around 2:30 a.m., also resulted in the death of 15-year-old Javonte Bridges, who lived near the scene of the shooting.
