In a quiet Chesterfield, Virginia neighborhood, the life of 9-year-old Alexis Faith Kellas was tragically cut short on Father's Day, June 15, 2014. The young female was a victim of a horrific triple murder-suicide orchestrated by her stepfather, 35-year-old Barry C. Jernigan. The devastating event, which also claimed the lives of Alexis's mother, 30-year-old Renotta I. Jernigan, and her 2-year-old half-brother, Seth Jernigan, unfolded within the family's home in the McCormick Woods subdivision. ...
