Edwin Stringfellow, a 36-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically passed away on June 17, 2021. According to available reports, Edwin's death was the result of a homicide. On the night of his death, Gary police responded to an apartment around 11:20 p.m. following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Edwin Stringfellow deceased at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately classified as a homicide, indicating that he was a victim of gun violence.
