In the summer of 2017, the life of 49-year-old Sonja Johnson, a female resident of Mobile, Alabama, was tragically cut short in what police would come to describe as a murder-suicide. On Friday, June 30, 2017, officers were called to a home on Faure Drive East to investigate a shooting. Inside, they discovered the bodies of Johnson and a male individual.
