On the morning of May 27, 2022, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Gary, Indiana. Derrick D. Davis, a 20-year-old male, was fatally shot near the intersection of 21st Avenue and Clark Road. He was inside a silver Hyundai Sonata when an assailant opened fire, inflicting the mortal wound.
