David Israel David III, a 28-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, lost his life to gun violence on June 3, 2024. The incident occurred at his residence in the 4300 block of W. 20th Avenue. Gary Police were alerted to the shooting around 1:14 p.m. and upon arrival, they found David Israel David with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, the Lake County Coroner's Office declared him deceased at the scene at 3:07 p.m..
