Amari Aaron, a 15-year-old boy, was tragically found shot to death alongside his father, Kelton Aaron, on October 5, 2020, in their home located in the 4400 block of Johnson Street in Gary, Indiana. The Lake County Coroner's Office ruled their deaths as homicides, and the Gary Police Department launched an investigation into the incident. The discovery of their bodies was made after a neighbor requested a welfare check, leading police to find both father and son with fatal gunshot wounds.
