On May 6, 2022, in Moundville, Alabama, authorities responded to reports of gunshots at a residence on County Road 46 shortly before 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 47-year-old Kisha Deon Johnson and her husband, 52-year-old Donald Wayne Johnson, deceased in the driveway. A handgun was found near Donald's hand, leading investigators to suspect a murder-suicide, with Donald allegedly shooting Kisha before taking his own life.
