In a tragic turn of events on a Friday in Gary, Indiana, a young man's life was cut short. Jediah RayShaun Perry, a 21-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on November 12, 2021. The incident unfolded in front of Kelly's Soul Kitchen on 5th Avenue, stemming from a prearranged meeting that escalated into deadly violence.
