Kerry Rice Jr., aged 32, tragically lost his life on September 23, 2019, in Gary, Indiana. Kerry was known for his love of basketball and his strong ties to his family and community. He attended Roosevelt High School and was remembered fondly by those who knew him. On the day of his death, Kerry was involved in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of Aaron Scott, 30, and injured Kerry's brother, Steven Rice, and a woman.
