On a tragic evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of 26-year-old Naisha Singleton was cut short. On June 3, 2016, Singleton was fatally shot outside of her home on the 1100 block of 32nd Street. The incident, which occurred just after 10 p.m., stemmed from a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend.
