On a tragic Saturday evening, the life of 35-year-old Adrian Mary Dillard of Hampton, Virginia, was cut short. On October 26, 2024, Newport News police were called to the 12000 block of Nettles Drive around 8:11 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Dillard inside a vehicle, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
