In the spring of 2017, the life of Larry Williams Jr., a 25-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. On the evening of May 24th, just after 8:30 p.m., gunshots echoed through the 500 block of Walker Avenue. When emergency crews arrived, they discovered Williams suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but tragically, he died from his injuries overnight.
