On the evening of May 27, 2021, in Norfolk, Virginia, 38-year-old Theron L. Hammond was fatally shot. Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 6600 block of Paul Jones Lane shortly before 9:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hammond suffering from a gunshot wound.
