In the city of Norfolk, Virginia, a young man's life was cut short on the night of October 20, 2017. Javaughn Moore, a 22-year-old male, was inside a residence in the 1500 block of Halstead Avenue when gunfire erupted. According to his family, he was doing something he enjoyed, playing video games, at the time of the fatal shooting. The incident, which occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m., left another man injured, though his wounds were not considered life-threatening.
