In the early morning hours of July 2, 2022, the life of 32-year-old Darian L. Golder Jr. was tragically cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. Police responded to a call of a gunshot victim in the 800 block of East Princess Anne Road at approximately 1:40 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Golder suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was a male resident of Norfolk.
Emergency services transported him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Darian L. Golder Jr. succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of his death was determined to be a result of the shooting.
