In the early morning hours of July 3, 2025, the quiet of a Norfolk, Virginia neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call around 2:40 a.m. in the 4800 block of Kennebeck Avenue, police officers discovered a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
