In the early evening of January 3, 2018, in Norfolk, Virginia, 44-year-old Lanxter L. Kuykendall was found lying on the ground in a parking lot of an apartment complex located at 423 E. Little Creek Road. Emergency dispatch received multiple calls around 6:00 p.m. regarding a man down. Upon their arrival, police officers discovered that Kuykendall had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
