A man is shot in a car on I 264 E at Ballentine Boulevard in the City of Norfolk
In the late hours of a summer night in Norfolk, Virginia, a violent encounter tragically cut short the life of Timothy Vondrell Jenkins. On August 8, 2011, the 34-year-old Black or African American man was a passenger in a Ford Expedition on Interstate 264 east at Ballentine Boulevard when another vehicle pulled alongside and an unknown individual opened fire. Jenkins was struck and killed in the barrage of bullets.
