On a tragic Friday afternoon, June 4, 2021, the life of 37-year-old Calvin A. Durham II was cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. The fatal encounter unfolded at the Kappatal Cuts barbershop on East Brambleton Avenue around 12:30 p.m. and was preceded by a dispute that had reportedly begun on social media. The disagreement escalated when Durham confronted 42-year-old Fareed Nelson-Luckett regarding a Facebook post.
