On a spring evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 20-year-old Jalen C. Barnhill was tragically cut short. On April 20, 2018, police responded to a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 7900 block of Thompson Road. Arriving at the scene, they discovered Barnhill outside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
