On the evening of September 2, 2021, emergency responders in Norfolk, Virginia, were called to the 1200 block of Lead Street following reports of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Shakee Davis, a Black male, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Davis was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
