In the Berkley neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia, on the afternoon of April 21, 2026, Tony A. Roundtree, a 34-year-old man from Chesapeake, was shot and killed. The incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the 500 block of Walker Avenue, near the intersection with Rockingham Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Roundtree suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
