Addison Hollywood Shearin, a 46-year-old man from Norfolk, Virginia, was found shot to death in Lafayette Park on July 18, 2016. Known as 'Hollywood' to those on the streets and 'Lil Man' to his family, Shearin often slept in the park due to his homelessness. He was discovered at the park's west entrance near 35th and Granby streets around 9:20 a.m., unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
