In the summer of 2016, a grim discovery was made in Norfolk, Virginia's Lafayette Park. On the morning of July 18th, police responded to a call about an unknown problem in the 3500 block of Granby Street. There, they found 46-year-old Addison Hollywood Shearin, a male resident of Norfolk, unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived at the scene but were unable to revive him, and Shearin was pronounced dead.
