In the early morning hours of August 2, 2019, the life of 33-year-old Dominic Christian, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Richmond, Virginia. The fatal shooting occurred around 12:58 a.m. in the 1100 block of North 25th Street. When Richmond Police officers, who were in the vicinity and heard the gunshots, arrived at the scene, they found Christian lying in the roadway, having sustained a gunshot wound.
