On June 22, 2022, 77-year-old Dinah Davis Northcutt was found deceased in her home in the Summerhill community near Columbiana, Alabama. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a suspicious person in the area. Upon investigation, deputies discovered Northcutt's body and determined her death to be a homicide.
