On the afternoon of March 19, 2020, a young man's life was cut tragically short in Norfolk, Virginia. Twenty-two-year-old Devonte Tae Stacks was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 3100 block of Azalea Garden Road. When police officers arrived around noon, they found him unresponsive, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. His death was immediately investigated as a homicide.
