In the Coleman Place neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia, a community was shaken by a violent incident that unfolded on the evening of February 16, 2020. Inside an apartment on Aspin Street, 62-year-old Milton Lee Washington Jr., a Black male, was found shot to death. He was not alone; a 16-year-old male was also discovered deceased at the scene, having also succumbed to gunshot wounds.
