In the evening of November 9, 2015, in Norfolk, Virginia, 19-year-old Trenton D. Holland, a Black/African American male, was found inside a home on Lindenwood Avenue with a gunshot wound. Emergency services were called to the scene around 8:45 p.m., and he was quickly transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Holland succumbed to his injuries and passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
