Aalon Smith, aged 34, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2013, in Norfolk, Virginia. Smith, along with 46-year-old Ervin A. Peebles, was fatally shot while sitting in a pickup truck on a Friday afternoon. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Cornwallis Lane, off Newtown Road. The suspect, Javou Jameil Smith, aged 31, was identified and subsequently turned himself in to the authorities.
