In the early hours of March 17, 2021, a dispute inside a home in the 600 block of Wiley Drive in Norfolk, Virginia, escalated to a fatal conclusion. Eddie Moet Jenkins, a 31-year-old Black male, was shot and killed just before 1 a.m. When police responded to a report of a gunshot victim, they found Jenkins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
