In the winter of 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm in a Norfolk, Virginia neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. On Tuesday, December 12th, police and paramedics rushed to the 2800 block of Harrell Avenue around 2 p.m. following reports of a shooting. There they found 19-year-old Daquan D. Davis suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he died shortly ...
