On the evening of March 10, 2016, a tragedy unfolded in Norfolk, Virginia, that would end with two men dead. Chaz Hall, a 24-year-old male, was on Ocean View Avenue when he witnessed a man assaulting his girlfriend and chose to intervene. Approximately an hour after this initial confrontation, the man returned and shot Hall multiple times.
