In the late hours of a warm September evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 32-year-old Davelle Anthony Taylor, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On September 10, 2022, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Norfolk police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of East Olney Road following reports of a gunshot disturbance.
